this is on the escalator in a subway station in rome, italy.

two parallel escalators were going down, I placed the camera on the handrail. that's why anything with the speed of the escalator is sharp and the rest blurry.

update: to clarify, this photo is not rotated. since the camera is on the handrail and the escalator in on an angle to world axis the photo came out of the camera like this. It's slighty cropped though since I couldn't look through the viewfinder to shoot this.
