I received my macro adapters for the lensbaby last night so I was looking for something to test it on. here are some detail shots of the latest book from one of my favourite graphic novelists chris ware, from the acme novelty library series.

the adapters are very good and allow to focus on very close subjects, but it's rather difficult to use. they come in 2 magnifications (4x and 10x) and you can combine the two as well. these are shot with only the 4x attached to the lensbaby 2.

in case you were wondering, there is no photoshop blurring here. the very shallow DOF is the result of the lens itself.
