Yesterday was the first day of 2007 Toronto International Film Festival. The opening movie for us was the incredible animated film Persepolis directed by Vincent Paronnaud and Marjane Satrapi (both pictured) based on Satrapi's popular Graphic Novel with the same name. The screening was at my favorite TIFF theatre; Elgin Visa Screening Room. The festival could not have started with a better film.

I'll be seeing more than 18 movies in the next 9 days at TIFF, so I'll barely have time to sleep (4 of those are Midnight Madness). But depending on what will happen, I might post some festival related shots in the upcoming days.

Update: Due to some error, this post was invisible for a few hours and was replaced by a newer post. It's fixed now.
