sidewalk hanger | October 29, 2004

sidewalk hanger || canon 300d/EF 50mm 1.8 | 1/60s | f2.2 | ISO 100
found this on a wall while walking on adelaide, between princess and jarvis; downtown toronto.

the shallow DOF effect is caused by the canon ef 50mm 1.8 lens and is untouched in post. no photoshops blurring or anything. this lens produces very shallow depth of field in wider f/stops, especially when the subject is close to the lens which is the case here.
